France, Germany and the UK

Variants of the SL3000 drawer is used by McDonald's in the France, Germany and the UK. Each drawer has been customised to suit each countries point of sale space and operating requirements. The SL3000 drawer features an insert with layflat notes, this is suitable for use within a limited height space, as the layflat notes enable the drawer to have a reduced height. The interface allows the drawer to be used with any terminal McDonald's choose now or in the future. The German version has a weight at the back as they don't fix it to the counter for health and safety reasons. France use an Under Counter Mounting Bracket to fix the drawer to the underside of the counter to provide more counter space for the food tray and packing.

Belgium and Holland

Variants of the Standard 2000 drawer is used by McDonald's in Belgium and Holland. Both countries use an insert that features upright notes, this provides space for a storage box behind the notes that can be used for coin rolls, vouchers etc. The coin compartment has easy to lift out handles, allowing cashiers to easily access the posted media. McDonald's in Holland does not have a lock, the drawer can only be electronically fired open. This security feature allows all drawer openings to be recorded on the audit trail and eliminate the need to replace lost keys.

Spain

McDonald's in Spain use a variant of the Slim drawer. The stainless steel version of the Slim is easy to clean and more hygienic, making it suitable for the strict Spanish health and safety regulations. The layflat notes allow the drawer to have a reduced height and the high number of coin compartments enables McDonald's restaurants in Spain to hold an increased volume of coins.
